Dragons, Dinosaur, and the bible: Did man and dinosaur Coexist?

My entire life I have believed that the time line in the Creation story was not to be taken literally. After all, God had no beginning and no end, so his concept of time could differ greatly from mans. The bible was also written in a way the man and child, educated and non-educated, today and tomorrow and 2,000 years ago could understand. If you look at evolution from a broad overview it follows the creation story with two exceptions: Time & man came from ape. So this is the way I always took it. After all God is most defiantly smart enough to create earth in a way in which evolution would do his work. Makes good science. Evolution is a fact. We see animals evolve and no longer be effected by poisons. We see colds evolve and keep contaminating us. But that simple fact doesn't in anyway prove we came from monkeys!(An interesting note: We see the evolution of insects in decades not hundreds or millions of years, and many insect have been around from the time of dinosaur- and cold evolve in weeks not millions of years... Just something to think about)

I saw an episode of The Duggars ( AKA: 18 kids and counting) where they visited a creation science museum. One of the exhibits showed the coexistence of Man and Dinosaur. I had never heard this Theory, EVER. So I googled it and found some rather interesting things.

1- The bible talks about both Dinosaur and Dragon.

The Bible refers to many the common animals we know today. The list includes lions, wolves, bears, sheep, cattle and dogs along with various kinds of birds, rodents, reptiles, and insects. What is interesting is that this extensive list includes three animals that we no longer recognize. These three are (in the original Hebrew language) tanniyn, b@hemowth (yes, it’s spelled correctly—at least as close as we can get in Roman characters), and livyathan.

Although we alter the spelling of behemoth and Leviathan slightly, we still use those same words in bibles today. However, tanniyn is always translated into another word when we write it in English. Tanniyn occurs 28 times in the Bible and is normally translated “dragon.” It is also translated “serpent,” “sea monster,” “dinosaur,” “great creature,” and “reptile.” Behemoth and Leviathan are relatively specific creatures, perhaps each was a single kind of animal. Tanniyn is a more general term, and it can be thought of as the original version of the word “dinosaur.” The word “dinosaur” was originally coined in 1841, more than three thousand years after the Bible first referred to “Tanniyn.” To make things clearer, we constructed the following table comparing the scientific names with the Biblical names tanniyn, behemoth, and Leviathan.

How we got these new names is interesting. In 1822, Mary Ann Mantell became the first person to discover and correctly identify a strange bone as part of a large, unknown reptile. Her husband, Dr. Gideon Mantell, later named this creature an “Iguanodon.” From that time forward, these forgotten animals were given names chosen by the people who rediscovered them. Of course, the Bible, written between approximately 1450 BC and 95 AD, does not include any of these names.

Reading the Bible carefully, you will realize that no living creature matches the descriptions of behemoth and Leviathan. However, if you grab your kid’s dinosaur book, you will notice several possible matches for each one. Let’s examine those.

violet ball Behemoth has the following attributes according to Job 40:15-24

* It “eats grass like an ox.”
* It “moves his tail like a cedar.” (In Hebrew, this literally reads, “he lets hang his tail like a cedar.”)
* Its “bones are like beams of bronze,
His ribs like bars of iron.”
* “He is the first of the ways of God.”
* “He lies under the lotus trees,
In a covert of reeds and marsh.”

Some bibles and study bibles will translate the word “behemoth” as “elephant” or “hippopotamus.” Others will put a note at the edge or bottom of the page, stating that behemoth was probably an elephant or a hippopotamus. Although an elephant or hippopotamus can eat grass (or lie in a covert of reeds and marsh), neither an elephant or a hippopotamus has a “tail like a cedar” (that is, a tail like a large, tapered tree trunk). In your kid’s dinosaur book you will find lots of animals that have “tails like a cedar.”

We would expect behemoth to be a large land animal whose bones are like beams of bronze and so forth, so whatever a behemoth is, it is large. A key phrase is “He is the first of the ways of God.” This phrase in the original Hebrew implied that behemoth was the biggest animal created. Although an elephant or a hippopotamus are big, they are less than one-tenth the size of a Brachiosaurus, the largest (complete) dinosaur ever discovered.[1] A Brachiosaurus could therefore easily be described as “the first of the ways of God.”

Comparing all this information to the description in your kid’s dinosaur book, you may come to the conclusion that “behemoth” is not a normal animal, it is a dinosaur—the brachiosaurus. We agree with that conclusion!

Note: Some paleontologists have found fragmentary leg bones, ribs, or vertebrae which they propose belong to “new” sauropods larger than Brachiosaurus. Examples of these include Amphicoelias, Argentinasaurus, Sauroposeidon, Seismosaurus, Supersaurus and Ultrasaurus. There currently is not enough evidence to really determine the size of any of these, and some paleontologists believe that they are merely large examples of known dinosaurs like Brachiosaurus or Diplodocus. In any case, only the “modern scientific name” of behemoth would change. The point would still remain that behemoth refers to a dinosaur, not a “modern animal” like an elephant or hippopotamus.

violet ball Leviathan has the following attributes according to Job chapter 41, Psalm 104:25,26 and Isaiah 27:1. This is only a partial listing—just enough to make the point.

* “No one is so fierce that he would dare stir him up.”
* “Who can open the doors of his face, with his terrible teeth all around?”
* “His rows of scales are his pride, shut up tightly as with a seal; one is so near another that no air can come between them; they are joined one to another, they stick together and cannot be parted.”
* “His sneezings flash forth light, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning. Out of his mouth go burning lights; sparks of fire shoot out. Smoke goes out of his nostrils, as from a boiling pot and burning rushes. His breath kindles coals, and a flame goes out of his mouth.”
* “Though the sword reaches him, it cannot avail; nor does spear, dart, or javelin. He regards iron as straw, and bronze as rotten wood. The arrow cannot make him flee; slingstones become like stubble to him. Darts are regarded as straw; he laughs at the threat of javelins.”
* “On earth there is nothing like him, which is made without fear.”
* Leviathan “played” in the “great and wide sea” (a paraphrase of Psalm 104 verses 25 and 26—get the exact sense by reading them yourself).
* Leviathan is a “reptile [a] that is in the sea.” (Isaiah 27:1)

[a] Note: The word translated “reptile” here is the Hebrew word tanniyn. This shows that “Leviathan” was also a “tanniyn” (dragon).

Unlike behemoth, who is huge, Leviathan is ferocious and terrifying. Many references (we have not listed them all) refer to the sea, so Leviathan is probably a sea creature. Although some bibles refer to Leviathan as an alligator or crocodile (and both of these are fierce) neither of these is a sea creature. They like the water, but they spend much of their time on land. Further, the question “Who can open the doors of his face. . . .” implies that nobody can open Leviathan’s jaws. Although an alligator's jaws cannot normally be forced open, a punch to their sensitive snout or poke in eye might startle them enough to release their grip.[2] Although this is a good description of an alligator characteristic, it does not fit perfectly with the description of Leviathan, which in the context of the Bible was supposed to describe an essentially impossible event, and we are not done yet.

The description of the scales is interesting. Several verses describe these great scales. Compared to Leviathan’s armor, iron is like straw and arrows ca not make it flee. Let’s face it, an arrow can do a lot of damage to a crocodile or alligator. This is not a description of either of them—or any living animal we are aware of.

And now for the key ingredient: fire. It is hard to read Job 41:18-21 without realizing the Bible is telling us that Leviathan breathes fire. That alone will eliminate almost every living animal. Yes, there is one animal like that in today’s world. It is called a bombardier beetle. This beetle is a native of Central America, and has a nozzle in its hind end that acts like a little flame thrower. It sprays a high-temperature jet of gas (fueled by hydroquinones and hydrogen peroxide with oxidative enzymes) for protection. Now, if a Central American beetle can do it, so could Leviathan. By the way, crocodiles and alligators are out of the picture on this one, don’t you agree?

Before we leave the topic of fire, there are two more notes you may find interesting:

* The history of every culture is filled with stories of fire-breathing dragons. If you think about it, in all the past ages wouldn’t someone have made up a story of a fire-breathing lion or something? Nobody did because the dragon stories are based on truth, and only “dragons” breathed fire. It is easy to imagine Leviathan as a member of the dragon (tanniyn) family. (Plus, Isaiah 27:1 strongly implies this connection.)
* Many fossil dinosaur skulls contain unexplained, empty passages. Scientists have not been able to guess the reason for these passages. Would it make sense that some dinosaurs used these passages as “gas tanks” for the combustible mixture used to “breathe fire?” We believe it does.

Comparing all this information to the description in your kid’s dinosaur book, you may come up with the conclusion that Leviathan is a kronosaurus. We have heard (and read) other suggestions, but the kronosaurus is the best match of any known creature to the description of Leviathan." (Link)

2- EVERY ancient culture has stories of Dragons. How could hundreds of civilizations living thousands of miles apart, whom never had contact with one another, all come up with similar legends of giant reptile like creatures? Possibly because early man actually saw dinos!?! (Interestingly enough all ancient cultures tell of a great flood)

Interestingly, the word “dragon” is used a number of times in the Old Testament. In most instances, the word dinosaur could substitute for dragon and it would fit very nicely. Creation scientists believe that dinosaurs were called dragons before the word dinosaur was invented in the 1800s. We would not expect to find the word dinosaur in Bibles like the Authorized Version (1611), as it was translated well before the word dinosaur was ever used.

Also, there are many very old history books in various libraries around the world that have detailed records of dragons and their encounters with people. Surprisingly (or not so surprisingly for creationists), many of these descriptions of dragons fit with how modern scientists would describe dinosaurs, even Tyrannosaurus. Unfortunately, this evidence is not considered valid by evolutionists. Why? Only because their belief is that man and dinosaurs did not live at the same time!

However, the more we research the historical literature, the more we realize there is overwhelming evidence that dragons were real beasts, much like our modern reconstructions of dinosaurs, and that their existence has been recorded by many different people, even just hundreds of years ago.

3- Physical Evidence of Dino and Man:

* Creatures unknown or thought to be extinct are found frequently.
In 2000, incredibly, divers first caught sight of something amazing - the coelacanth – a species of fish that was thought to have become extinct 70 million years ago LINK , survival for 360 million years on the earth (interestingly, with very little evolutionary progression).

* Ancient Carvings

1) Deep within the Cambodian jungle, looking like a set from Tomb Raider is the amazing Ta Prohm temple – built around 1185 AD.

Carved into the stone – is what appears to be a stegosaurus !

Many argue that this is a merely a rhino with the sun, or foliage behind it – this leaves the whole debate open to personal interpretation. (Link)

2) In the 1930’s, a large number of stones were discovered, tomb markers in Ica Peru – these are known as the Ica Burial Stones.

Bearing no organic material, they are difficult to date – they are however believed to be between 500 and 1500 years old.

Many of the stones show scenes of everyday life – however some had images of anatomically recognisable dinosaurs, Triceratops and Stegosaurus (shown below).

Some stones were held up to be part of the Ica Burial stone collection in the 1950’s and 1960’s which were clearly forged fakes – many therefore took the stance that all the stones must be fake and dismissed the entire collection out of hand.

However, there was one particular stone which makes it very difficult to dismiss the whole collection.

The stone (photographed and catalogued in 1975) depicts a sauropod with conical dermal spines along its back.

The fact that sauropods had spines along their backs was unknown to palaeontologists until a discovery by Stephen Czerkas in 1992 – with a full report issued in 1994 (Link)

3) In 1945, in the soil at the base of the El Toro mountain, Acambero, Mexico, a few clay statues of a variety of dinosaur types were discovered in Waldemar Jalmud – an hardware merchant.

The figurines were classified as belonging to the Chupicuaro Culture 800BC – 200AD
Further digging revealed over 33, 000 separate figurines. CLICK HERE & SCROLL DOWN TO VIEW FIGURINES. Over 60 of these figurines were discovered to be musical instruments – primitive flutes with up to eight notes.

As in case 2, the dinosaurs uncovered in the dig were anatomically correct in terms of the modern and recently discovered understanding of dinosaur features – these were unknown details in 1945 – Including the sauropod spines as described in case 2.

4) Native American Drawings of Dino
Grand Canyon:
An example of Native American rock art carved into the walls of Grand Canyon. It was discovered in 1879 by E. L. Doheny and documented in 1924 by a scientific expedition which included Dr. Charles W. Gilmore, Curator of Vertebrate Paleontology, United States National Museum. The resulting publication reported as "fact" that "some prehistoric man made a pictograph of a dinosaur on the walls of this canyon..." Doheny Scientific Expedition, p.5. Recenly someone used it as a target practice and you can see a bullet hole at the base of the tail. It shows just how old the etchings must be since the fresh bullet mark cuts through the thick "rock varnish".

These petroglyphs are attributed to the Fremont Indians who were contemporary with the Anasazi. They are found in Montrose county, Colorado and appear to depict a Triceratops, including the characteristic three horns and neck frill. Dr. Patton points to the etching.

*Human and other mammal tracks have been found dating before and during Dino Times.
(Link)

One of several very shallow but almost perfect human tracks found in the mountains of New Mexico in the Permian (supposedly before the dinosaurs)

*Man and Dino fossils
Fossil remains from at least 10 perfectly modern humans (5 males, 4 females, 1 infant) have been excavated fifty feet down from the surface, within the Dakota Sandstone, the same formation found at Dinosaur National Monument, famous for its dinosaurs.(Link)

This unique iron hammer with partially coalified wooden handle was found in Lower Cretaceous Limestone, supposedly 140 million years old (the time of the dinosaurs). According to evolutionary theory, this hammer must have been made by dinosaurs.(Link)

So What does this evidence mean? Are We wrong about evolution and the age of the earth? Are we wrong about Dinosaurs ruling the earth for millions of years before man?

I am defiantly going to do more research on all of this and possible answers to the questions about Dino! What are your thoughts?

Making Laundry Detergent

I have been putting off making this FOREVER! I thought it would be so difficult! But this was so unbelievably easy!!! It smells GREAT! It works GREAT! And $3 makes about 10 gal! That's much better than the $14 Tide I've been using!

I used this recipe:

Homemade Liquid Laundry Soap- Front or top load machine- best value

4 Cups - hot tap water
1 Fels-Naptha soap bar (I use Ivory. Because its a smaller bar, I use two)
1 Cup - Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda*
½ Cup Borax

Photobucket

- Grate bar of soap and add to saucepan with water. Stir continually over medium-low heat until soap dissolves and is melted.

Photobucket

-Fill a 5 gallon bucket half full of hot tap water. Add melted soap, washing soda and Borax. Stir well until all powder is dissolved. Fill bucket to top with more hot water. Stir, cover and let sit overnight to thicken.

-Stir and fill a used, clean, laundry soap dispenser half full with soap and then fill rest of way with water. Shake before each use. (will gel)

Photobucket

-Optional: You can add 10-15 drops of essential oil per 2 gallons. Add once soap has cooled. Ideas: lavender, rosemary, tea tree oil.

-Yield: Liquid soap recipe makes 10 gallons.

-Top Load Machine- 5/8 Cup per load (Approx. 180 loads)

-Front Load Machines- ¼ Cup per load (Approx. 640 loads)

*Arm & Hammer "Super Washing Soda" - in some stores or may be purchased online here (at Meijer.com). Baking Soda will not work, nor will Arm & Hammer Detergent - It must be sodium carbonate!!

Obama's Science Czar Considered Forced Abortions, Sterilization as Population Growth Solutions

From FoxNews:

President Obama's "science czar," John Holdren, once floated the idea of forced abortions, "compulsory sterilization," and the creation of a "Planetary Regime" that would oversee human population levels and control all natural resources as a means of protecting the planet -- controversial ideas his critics say should have been brought up in his Senate confirmation hearings.

Holdren, who has degrees from MIT and Stanford and headed a science policy program at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government for the past 13 years, won the unanimous approval of the Senate as the president's chief science adviser.

He was confirmed with little fanfare on March 19 as director of the White House's Office of Science and Technology Policy, a 50-person directorate that advises the president on scientific affairs, focusing on energy independence and global warming.

But many of Holdren's radical ideas on population control were not brought up at his confirmation hearings; it appears that the senators who scrutinized him had no knowledge of the contents of a textbook he co-authored in 1977, "Ecoscience: Population, Resources, Environment," a copy of which was obtained by FOXNews.com.

The 1,000-page course book, which was co-written with environmental activists Paul and Anne Ehrlich, discusses and in one passage seems to advocate totalitarian measures to curb population growth, which it says could cause an environmental catastrophe.

The three authors summarize their guiding principle in a single sentence: "To provide a high quality of life for all, there must be fewer people."

As first reported by FrontPage Magazine, Holdren and his co-authors spend a portion of the book discussing possible government programs that could be used to lower birth rates.

Those plans include forcing single women to abort their babies or put them up for adoption; implanting sterilizing capsules in people when they reach puberty; and spiking water reserves and staple foods with a chemical that would make people sterile.

To help achieve those goals, they formulate a "world government scheme" they call the Planetary Regime, which would administer the world's resources and human growth, and they discuss the development of an "armed international organization, a global analogue of a police force" to which nations would surrender part of their sovereignty.

We wonder why government funded abortion would be part of the Health Care Reform! My Goodness! Where on earth is this country headed!!!

Children Singing Songs in Public School In Praise of Obama - A Must See!!!!

Teaching children Patriotism is a great idea! However, pushing political views in a public school system is terrible! We can't say God in school, however, our children can sing songs praising the President. Some of these songs have replaced Jesus' name with the Presidents! One song that the children were taught quotes directly from the spiritual "Jesus Loves the Little Children," though Jesus' name is replaced with Obama's: "He said red, yellow, black or white/All are equal in his sight. Barack Hussein Obama."

Obama Pushing Treaty On Gun Control

Obama promised to not take our guns away, right?

If you are a gun owner, or just someone who believes in the constitution you need to read about this!

From Gun Owners Association:
A week ago, Obama went to Mexico, whined about the United States, and bemoaned (before the whole world) the fact that he didn’t have the political power to take away our semi-automatics. Nevertheless, that didn’t keep him from pushing additional restrictions on American gun owners.

It’s called the Inter-American Convention Against Illicit Manufacturing of and Trafficking in Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives, and Other Related Materials. To be sure, this imponderable title masks a really nasty piece of work.

First of all, when the treaty purports to ban the “illicit” manufacture of firearms, what does that mean?

1. “Illicit manufacturing” of firearms is defined as “assembly of firearms [or] ammunition ... without a license....”

Hence, reloading ammunition -- or putting together a lawful firearm from a kit -- is clearly “illicit manufacturing.”

Modifying a firearm in any way would surely be “illicit manufacturing.” And, while it would be a stretch, assembling a firearm after cleaning it could, in any plain reading of the words, come within the screwy definition of “illicit manufacturing.”

2. “Firearm” has a similarly questionable definition.

“[A]ny other weapon” is a “firearm,” according to the treaty -- and the term “weapon” is nowhere defined.

So, is a BB gun a “firearm”? Probably.

A toy gun? Possibly.

A pistol grip or firing pin? Probably. And who knows what else.

If these provisions (and others) become the law of the land, the Obama administration could have a heyday in enforcing them. Consider some of the other provisions in the treaty:

* Banning reloading. In Article IV of the treaty, countries commit to adopting “necessary legislative or other measures” to criminalize illicit manufacturing and trafficking in firearms.

Remember that “illicit manufacturing” includes reloading and modifying or assembling a firearm in any way. This would mean that the Obama administration could promulgate regulations banning reloading on the basis of this treaty -- just as it is currently circumventing Congress to write legislation taxing greenhouse gases.

* Banning gun clubs. Article IV goes on to state that the criminalized acts should include “association or conspiracy” in connection with said offenses -- which is arguably a term broad enough to allow, by regulation, the criminalization of entire pro-gun organizations or gun clubs, based on the facilities which they provide their membership.

* Extraditing US gun dealers. Article V requires each party to “adopt such measures as may be necessary to establish its jurisdiction over the offenses it has established in accordance with this Convention” under a variety of circumstances.

We know that Mexico is blaming U.S. gun dealers for the fact that its streets are flowing with blood. And we know it is possible for Mexico to define offenses “committed in its territory” in a very broad way. And we know that we have an extradition obligation under Article XIX of the proposed treaty. So we know that Mexico could try to use the treaty to demand to extradition of American gun dealers.

Under Article XXIX, if Mexico demands the extradition of a lawful American gun dealer, the U.S. would be required to resolve the dispute through “other means of peaceful settlement.”

Does anyone want to risk twenty years in a sweltering Mexican jail on the proposition that the Obama administration would apply this provision in a pro-gun manner?

* Microstamping. Article VI requires “appropriate markings” on firearms. And, it is not inconceivable that this provision could be used to require microstamping of firearms and/or ammunition -- a requirement which is clearly intended to impose specifications which are not technologically possible or which are possible only at a prohibitively expensive cost.

* Gun registration. Article XI requires the maintenance of any records, for a “reasonable time,” that the government determines to be necessary to trace firearms. This provision would almost certainly repeal portions of McClure-Volkmer and could arguably be used to require a national registry or database.

So Basically: Your a Felon if you choose to own a re-loader! You must register your guns and more restrictions! If you don't abide, do you face trial in the USA? NO! Your extradited to Mexico (Where the 2nd amendment doesn't apply!) for breaking the treaty!

Not Convinced, Google it.
This Has been covered by the New York Times and the Washington post.

Just an FYI.

Do You know why we have the "Right to Bear Arms"?
The Founding Fathers wanted us to be a people who could stand and protect our self when needed. A people who can not protect its self is at the mercy of the Government. Our Founding Fathers Knew that, from experience. They wanted to ensure we never went through that! That's also why they wanted strong local and State government and weaker Federal Government. We do NOT want a socilized goverment, we are a democracy.

Action needs to be taken today!

The Duggars (Part 3): Child Training

The Duggars use to types of "Child Training". They use the Character Training methods that are part of the Bill Gothard ATI homeschool curriculum. They also use many of the books by Micheal and Debbie Pearl of the No Greater Joy Ministries.

In this post we will be looking at some of the Pearl Methods.

The Pearls DO advocate spanking.

They also advocate child training. Such as Blanket Training.

Blanket Training to suppose to teach the baby self-control as well as obedience.
In several session you essentially teach the child to stay on the blanket. This is done by placing the baby on a comfortable blanket with a few toys. You tell the child to stay on the blanket. Take your chosen "spanking rod" and tap around the border of the blanket, showing baby no to move from the blanket. If baby moves off blanket say "no" and administer a light spanking. They recommend you start with short 5-Min training sessions and extend the length of the sessions as possible until baby learns to stay on the blanket.

They explain what a useful tool this is as the blanket then becomes an extremely portable play-pen.

I have found many related articles including this one, Church Training.
There seems to be a few variations including this one on line training.

The Pearls also offer practice advice such as potty training. In a very interesting article they talk about how to start potty training from infancy.

The Pearls are often ridiculed and spoken ill of because of thier beliefs in childcare. Examples of "Child-Abuse" taught in the Pearls books are all over websites against spanking such as stoptherod.com however, nothing they teach is anywhere close to child-abuse, but rather simple spanking.

They are also ridiculed because they teach that children should "Obey" and need to be "trained"

Just My Opinion:

Could "Corporal Punishment" is a part of God's design.

I heard something similar to this on the radio.
Example? Pain. When we are infants we learn not to put our fingers in our eyes. How do we learn this? Simple, God engineered it so that it hurts when we put our little fingers in our eye. After a time or two we learn to not put our fingers in out eye anymore. Why does God do this? Is he being abusive? NO! If god had not designed it to hurt when we put our little fingers in out little eyes we may scratch or seriously damage our eyes as we get older.

Common Sense and Health Care

As you all know, I am a BIG fan of health care reform! We live in a country where the largest health care insurance companies have increased there profits by OVER 400%! We are the ONLY country that profits and capitalizes on the illness of others. We are a sad greedy people, and we are all ready for a change.

We, the Average Dumb American, know what needs to be done. The average "Dumb American" from both parties, the conservatives, the liberals, pretty much all "Average Joes" can agree on a simple common sense health care bill. So why then, is it so hard for the Doctors and Lawyer and well educated in Washington DC to figure this out?

The "Average Joe" Common Sense Reform Bill:
1. Make it illegal for an insurance company to charge you more, deny you, or put you through waiting periods (In which you pay for the insurance with out receiving coverage) based on Pre-existing Conditions.
2. Make it illegal for premiums to go up based solely on discovery of conditions
3. Either(or a Compbination of):
A- Put a "Cap" On Premiums
B- Allow for a Public Option, to bring competition to the market
( UPS and FedEx certainly bring Competition to USPS and that's GREAT)
C- Vouchers for those who can't afford coverage
4. Allow for "Discounts" on premiums for: Good Health, Regular preventive Doctor Visits, Proper Exercise and diet...Ect
5. Regulate the cost of Doctors Malpractice insurance
6. The Public Option/Vouchers or anything being paid for with tax-payer monies must not cover:
1. Abortion
2. Birth Control
3. Medications such as Viagra
Such Items are not covered under most insurance policies and should come out the individuals pocket, not the taxpayers!
7. No "End-of-life" Counseling or age/condition limits to coverage

**This basic common sense approach is what the people want! Isn't the point of a Democracy to be governed by the people? Our representatives are NOT doing their job to represent those who elected them, but are rather catering to big money and lobbyist! It's time for the government to stand for its people!**

DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE!
***********************************************************************************
I encourage you to leave a comment (What you agree with, what you would change, additions, ect). If you have a blog, Post a link to the original blog and your version of the Average Joe's Health Care Reform! If you don't have a blog, do the same with email.

Rally together with other like-minded individuals who know change is necessary, but just isn't happening. GET INVOLVED IN YOUR GOVERNMENT!

Please write your Congressmen and Other Elected Representatives. Now is a time we as an American People must stand together and demand representation!
